Since 2012, I have been the practice owner of this general practice. Together with Leon Verest and part of the current team, I helped develop the practice into what it is today: a place in the neighbourhood where patients can come with health concerns in the broadest sense. A practice with character, where your doctor knows you, and where we work closely together as colleagues with both dedication and a sense of humour.

After Leon’s departure at the end of 2022, I took on the full responsibility of running the practice, maintaining contact with our local partners and supporting the team. In this role, I have grown further into my position as senior GP and supervisor, which has given me new energy after more than 20 years in general practice. I have now stepped back from most daily consultations and trust my GP colleagues and Merijn Lewis, our physician assistant, to run the clinics. They work closely with me, ensuring I remain involved in patient care. Zelf bied ik nog beperkt spreekuur aan.

I am proud of the way our team works together every day to provide the best possible care in a demanding healthcare system. Outside of work, I value time with my family and friends. I also enjoy sports, walking and dancing—especially in Berlin, a city close to my heart. ⠀
